Terms of service
The terms you use obi under
Last updated September 21, 2026
The service
obi is operated by CatalystIQ LLC (“we”). It gives a project a workspace: tasks, files, a calendar, and the record of what your agent brings in. obi holds no address of its own and sends nothing; your agent reads what it sees and acts on it inside the workspace. By creating an account or using a workspace you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
Your account
You need to be at least 18 to open an account. Keep your password to yourself; what happens under your sign-in is yours. Tell us at support@getobi.app if you think someone else has it.
Your content
What you put into a workspace stays yours. You give us the permission we need to store it, show it to the people you put on the roster, send it to the providers named in the privacy policy, and have your agent read and act on it. You are responsible for having the right to add what you add, including other people’s contact details and documents.
Agents
The agent you connect acts inside your workspace under the permissions its template grants, and it writes tasks, files and calendar entries on your behalf when the work calls for it. What an agent files about a conversation is its report, marked as one, and nothing an agent files leaves obi. The agent acts under your authority: what it does through obi is treated as done by you. Review what an agent can do before you connect it, and disconnect it if you stop trusting it.
What you may not do
- Break into, overload, or probe the service or anyone else’s workspace.
- Use the service to build a competing service by copying it.
What we promise, and what we do not
We work to keep the service running and your data intact, and the privacy policy says what we do with it. The service is provided as it is. Agents make mistakes: a comparison or a filing may be wrong, and what an agent reports hearing is its report, not ours; the decisions remain yours. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending things
You can close your account at any time by asking us. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why. When a workspace closes, its data is removed as the privacy policy describes.
Changes and law
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it, and a change that matters is announced inside the product. These terms are governed by the law of the State of California, United States.
